KENYA WINE AGENCIES LIMITED (KWAL) TRADEMARK USAGE GUIDELINES
At KWAL, our trademarks, logos and brands are valuable assets. We share the following guidelines for your compliance with regard to their use.
1. You shall not use any of our marks, whether registered or not, without our prior written permission.
2. If you are a KWAL partner, the terms for your use of the marks are laid out in a section of the contractual agreement with you. If the same are not incorporated in such agreement, the terms for your use of the marks are as laid out herein
3. Your use of the marks should not suggest any sponsorship or endorsement by us, and should not confuse our brands with any other brands.
4. You are not permitted to do any of the following:
a. Combine any of our marks with your name, your marks, or any generic terms
b. Incorporate any of our marks into your name or logo
c. Change the color of our logo
d. Photoshop or otherwise modify our logos
e. Use old versions of our logos
f. Use our logo as a letter in any word, other than where published by us
g. Add words directly around the logos
h. Overlap our logo with shapes or photos
i. Associate our marks with any vulgar, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or product
j. Use any of our marks in a disparaging or degrading manner
5. You may not create any social media account whose username or title could suggest affiliation with or endorsement by us
6. You may not use our marks in any advertising creative or copy (digital, social or otherwise). This includes phrases such as “KWAL Partner”
7. You may not use a trademark, domain name, or logo that imitates or could be confused with our marks
8. Always use the proper spelling and the proper trademark symbol, where applicable
9. By using any KWAL trademarks, you are acknowledging that KWAL is the sole owner of the trademarks and agreeing not to interfere with KWAL’s rights in the trademarks, including challenging KWAL’s use, registration of, or application to register such trademarks.
10. All customers and partners may comment on KWAL products and provide suggestions for improving them. You agree that all such comments and suggestions will be non-confidential and that we own all rights to use and incorporate them into KWAL Products, without payment to you.
11. If we think that your use of our trademarks is in violation with any of our legal terms or these guidelines, or if we feel that your use is not in KWAL’s best interest, we can revoke your right to use our marks at any time

13. We retain all ownership rights in KWAL trademarks
14. Note that these Guidelines may be modified by KWAL from time-to-time in its sole discretion
